Artist’s Bio

Hannah De Los Reyes was born in the Philippines and migrated to Canada 7 years ago. She is currently taking her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree majoring in drawing at Brandon University. As a first-generation immigrant, her cultural background predominantly inspires her work- from the pre-colonial period to the present. De los Reyes mainly works in drawing but also dabbles in printmaking, painting and ceramics. While taking her degree, De Los Reyes has received 8 scholarships from her outstanding academic performance and has created several art commissions to support her schooling. In 2022, she started participating in group shows at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba.
