Desiree Dorion • February 13, 2027 at 7:30pm
Desiree Dorion grew up a mile and a half from the grounds of Dauphin Country Fest, one of the biggest outdoor music festivals in Canada. As a little girl she would ride her bike there when the festival wasn’t on, climb up on the stage, and pretend to play to the thousands of fans that come to watch big country music acts. In 2014 her dream of playing the mainstage came true when she shared the stage with The Band Perry.

Fuller Hull & Murray Kinsley
Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment presents:
Fuller Hull & Murray Kinsley • March 11, 2027 at 7:30pm
A “Songwriter for the Second Chancers”, Fuller Hull (Jeffery Cottes, pronounced CAW-tiss) is a country folk singer-songwriter from Manitoba, Canada.
Fuller Hull is a “second chance” of sorts, and he's not your typical up-and-comer. Like a well worn farm tool, his songs have rustic handles and sharp hooks that produce some of the finest materials his farm life has to offer. Fuller's reputation as a Jack of all Trades is well known amongst his inner circle, but his work as a songwriter reveals his versatility on the page and on the stage.
He grew up “free range” in the city and bounced around a bit until he and his family nestled into a small farm on the Canadian prairie. Starting again as a “new” artist after a 20+ year “break”, Fuller has a longer past than most emerging artists. This is unconventional in the music industry today, but sometimes authenticity must be earned over time and with hard-earned experience. Fuller Hull draws from a lifetime of material and is an artisan songwriter. As expected of any GenX'er, Fuller is independent and following his own path on his own terms.
His first album “March” offers a very personal debut. His second album, “The Unsuspected and Unstoppable”, shares tales of his life from the city, in the mountains, on the farm, and from the heart.
Honest and raw, Fuller invites you into his life – one song at a time.
You'll find Fuller Hull on playlists alongside Nathaniel Rateliff, Townes Van Zandt, Mariel Buckley, Jason Isbell, William Prince, Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, and others in the New Americana genre.
Murray Kinsley
Reviewers have described this internationally touring, Maple Blues Award winning band as “stripped-down, hellaciously rockin’ new blues with the distinctive voice and guitar-work of Murray Kinsley and a rhythm section that swings with reckless, casual precision”.
Much of Wicked Grin’s success is based on Murray’s stage presence and his ability to connect with and move audiences – this is what he lives for.
Murray Kinsley and Wicked Grin were awarded the 2014 Maple Blues Award for “New Artist” and were a semi-finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, January 2019. Their album “Murder Creek,” released October 2018, has earned widespread industry acclaim and was a semi-finalist for the IBC Best Self-Produced CD Award. Their latest disc “Eye Of The Storm” was released in January, 2025 and is achieving world-wide airplay and reviews.

Burnstick
Burnstick • May 15, 2027 at 7:30pm
Built on emotion-stirring storytelling and unmistakable vocal harmonies accompanied by a century-old instrument, Burnstick, a JUNO nominated husband and wife Folk duo, are intent on creating affecting music that inspires listeners to feel. The Manitoba based Indigenous duo features Nadia and Jason Burnstick, esteemed independent artists who united over a decade ago to create deeply moving, cinematic Folk music using their trademark vocal pairing, and Jason's mastery of the lap slide Weissenborn guitar. Five years after their nationally acclaimed debut album, "Kîyânaw," Burnstick unveils "Made of Sin", their remarkable and poignant sophomore album. Backed by their drummer, Daniel Roy, Nadia and Jason perform deeply resonant music that strikes a chord with audiences. With thought-provoking lyrics and engaging stories, they often leave listeners reflecting on their own experiences, feelings, and memories.
D'ailleurs, leur extrait Some Kind of Hell a remporté le prix "Single of the Year" aux Canadian Folk Music Awards. Ensemble, Burnstick crée une musique folk rafraîchissante et captivante.

What people say:
“With such a distinct musical style and impactful mode of performance, there is no doubt that Burnstick deserves to be remembered for decades to come." -ALLISTER WHITE, THE CARILLON
"Personally, I think it's almost misleading to call Burnstick a "Folk duo" because when one thinks of Folk music one thinks of someone strumming away on an acoustic guitar but Burnstick's music covers a lot more territory but in a beautiful, cinematic way, which I really appreciate. A combination of great singing, great songs and beautiful recording - for me, it doesn't get any better than that." -Malcolm Burn, BETWEEN THE GROOVES
“...they really sound lovely together, both live and on record. It’s understated, intimate and seemingly-effortlessly beautiful. Four hooves up." -GORDY THE MOOSE, ROOTS MUSIC CANADA

The Sean Taylor Band
Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment presents:
Sean Taylor • October 16
Canadian country music from the heart of the prairies – Winnipeg, Manitoba. 2024 Manitoba Country Music Association “Group of the Year” and “Album of the Year” award winners, The Sean Taylor Band is a six-piece country band that blends great entertainment with top notch musicianship to kick as much a** as a country band can.
Featuring Greg Dunstan on bass, James Klassen on keys, Sean Taylor Johnston on acoustic guitar and vocals, Juno Award winner Jeff Kula on drums, multi-time MCMA guitar player of the year Sean Borton on guitar, and 2022 MCMA Auxiliary Play of the year Blaine Badiuk on fiddle and mandolin.
The Sean Taylor Band has been honoured to play many amazing festivals and events over the last decade, such as Dauphin’s Country Fest, Morden Corn & Apple, Norseman Days, Manitoba Ag Days, and countless rodeos. The band is adept at creating just the right setlist for every event.
In its 10th year the group continued to build on its live show success. In April 2024 they released their award-winning self-titled debut album, which amassed over 100k streams and 1k physical sales.
Early singles such as “Tan Lines”, “Rolling Stone”, and “Someplace Better Than Here” gained radio play and streaming success across North America. Later singles “Alberta Sunrise” and “Back Roads & Binos” caught the eye of Sirius satellite radio and have been broadcast worldwide. “Cowboys Last Ride”, a band favourite, also received rave reviews from across the continent upon release.
“Wow, so many have tried to capture the feeling of the rodeo cowboy, I myself rode for almost 12 years, and very few have actually captured what is going through a cowboy’s heart and mind. Sean Taylor has captured that feeling perfectly. He is now up there with Chris LeDoux and George Strait in being able to sing about the Rodeo Cowboy and make people really understand who they are. We are adding this song, and with pride too I might add.”
Nick Monague, CKCI Sarnia ON

Quinton Blair Concert
Saturday, October 18 at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:00pm
Residing at the central point of Canada, rains Quinton Blair; an artist genuine to the core and brandishing all the qualities of the real deal. When not moving a dance floor with his uptempo, boot-stompin’, brand of country music; you will find him in the roping pen, or guiding folks through the wilderness of Manitoba on horseback.
Blair is the 2023 Manitoba Country Music Association Fans Choice Award winner; along with additional accolades for MCMA Roots Artist of the Year (four times); MCMA Male Artist of the Year (four times), and, Songwriter of the Year, for the song 20 Dollar Bottle. This was a collaboration written with Jason Blaine. “The country music family is so fantastic in this country, and it's an honor to have your peers recognize all the hard work and energy that goes into every song and every show,” says Blair of his multiple awards.
Blair has released five singles to Canadian radio, granting him national exposure to many markets across Canada, with a loyal Prairie following. Blair has been creating moments and memories in every southern province in 2023 from BC to PEI, including a hearty stint supporting Tim and the Glory Boys on their Hometown Hoe-Down tour. Sharing stages with the likes of Corb Lund, Charlie Major, Terri Clark, High Valley, and many more. Blair’s music is heavily influenced by the likes of Dwight, Allan Jackson, and Garth Brooks, all of which reflect the fiddle-driven era of dancehall country of the '90s.
His mainstream crossover appeal, and his ability to execute an engaging live performance to an intimate gathering or for thousands of people, have presented Quinton with many opportunities to share the stage. Some of those stages are Dauphin Country Fest, Calgary Stampede – Coca Cola Stage, Rope Square, and many small and large rodeos and other festivals, and even headlining shows across the Prairies. From tear-jerkers to boot scooters, Blair has an incredible handle on the country music songbook, and an uncanny ability to read a crowd and bring them to the dancefloor. Quinton doesn’t just play country music, country is in his blood.
With a new single soon to be released; a co-write with Jason McCoy and additional new songs in the works, there is a buzz of excitement and anticipation within the country music scene for what Blair will be bringing to the table.
