I am a rural artist with an agricultural background. My husband Dale and I farmed in the Burnside District where we raised our two children, Mattie and Robert. Dale had a love of refinishing Thunderbirds and I have included a few pictures of his work as well. For myself, I chose pencil, ink, pastel, and watercolour as my media with my drawings focused on architecture and landscapes. Preserving rural life , past and present, is an important factor in the images I create.

At the age of 15, I joined the Brush and Pallet Club, then it became the Portage Allied Arts and finally the Portage & District Arts Council. Throughout my years as an artist, I have served on several boards and committees. I was one of two artists commissioned to complete the Old School Project and one of my greatest career accievements was C0-Chariing the ArtSmarts Program with John Rennie.

This collection is a smapling of pieces spanning several decades depicting life on the farm, our family cottage at Delta Beach, and my love of detail found in nature and architecture.
