In partnership with the Fort la Reine Museum we have several artifacts from the Trappers Cabin on display in the Atrium Gallery until February 26, 2026.

Artifacts include seven pairs of snowshoes, live traps, a couple of birchbark Moose calls, a dog sled, a lantern, a pair or Beaver fur mitts and a Fur Farm Licence.

The new Metis Trappers Cabin will be built starting in the spring of 2026 thanks to the generosity of all the people who sponsored a log in the FLRM Buy a Log - Leave a Legacy.
