St. Patrick's Paint Challenge Fundraiser

St. Patrick's Paint Challenge Fundraiser

Prairie Fusion is hosting a St. Patrick’s Paint Challenge Fundraiser, presented in part by Greenberg and Greenberg Law Firm, on March 16, 2024, at the William Glesby Theatre. This event aims to bring together members of our community to engage in a friendly and colourful "impressionistic" paint challenge, promoting unity, creativity and fun. The event will also serve as a fund raiser to support the renovations for gender neutral washrooms.

The format of this event will consist of several timed rounds in which fellow painters will paint for a 20-minute period. After this, the attendees will vote for their favourite artwork. The top two artists in the first and second session will compete again in the final round. All paintings will then be part of a silent auction in which the proceeds (minus a small commission) will be awarded to the artist.

Due to an overwhelming interest by our community members who want to paint in the challenge we have decided to ensure there are no barriers for community members to attend. We will be reaching out to those who have already purchased tickets to discuss turning it into a donation. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Confirmed painters are:

Mayor Sharilyn Knox, Mike Blume, Emcee Councillor Preston Meier, Sandra Proulx, Councillor Faron Nicholls, Rachael Clarke, Jane Tully, Councillor Colin Doyle, Brett Finney, Councillor Terrie Porter, Lee Beaton, Sara Lambert, Dale Finney, Pete Musters, and ?
