The Healthy No-Bake Snack program for children aged 3-6 and their caregiver, is designed to introduce young learners to the basics of kitchen safety and familiarize them with common kitchen tools while creating delicious and nutritious snacks. Over the course of the program, children will engage in simple, no-bake recipes that emphasize the use of safe kitchen practices and age-appropriate tools.

Each session will focus on a different snack recipe, such as fruit and yogurt parfaits, energy balls, or veggie pinwheels. Children will learn how to wash and prepare ingredients, measure out portions, and assemble the snacks with guidance from instructors. Emphasis will be placed on proper handwashing, safe handling of food, and using kitchen tools under adult supervision.

Through hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations, children will develop an understanding of kitchen safety practices and gain confidence in using basic kitchen tools like mixing spoons, measuring cups, and child-safe knives. The program aims to instill a love for healthy eating habits and empower young learners to participate in food preparation with the guidance of adults. By the end of the program, children will have a newfound appreciation for cooking and be equipped with the skills to create simple, nutritious snacks at home.

Session 1 : October 2, 9, 16, 23

If the minimum enrolment of 4 participants is not reached 2 weeks prior to start date, the class or workshop risks being cancelled.
