Lights, camera, action!
In Intro to Filmmaking at Prairie Fusion Art and Entertainment, young filmmakers ages 10–17 will learn the basics of storytelling, filming, acting, directing, and editing. Students will study and create a variety of projects, including making a silent film (Fall Class), a short film (Winter Class), and even some TikTok's!
Be an actor in front of the camera or for those who prefer not to appear on camera can take on exciting behind-the-scenes roles, including filming, writing, editing, production, and assistant directing. The class wraps up with a fun red carpet screening celebrating everyone’s creativity and hard
work!
Please note: students who choose to perform in front of the camera must sign a consent form along with their Guardian.
Class dates are:
Fall Session • Sep 25 to Nov 27
Winter Session • Jan 15 to Apr 9
